Dorthe Riis has worked with fiction for more than 10 years. Before joining Apple Tree Productions she worked as a producer at DR Drama, where she developed and produced drama content in all genres for different platforms such as TV, podcast and web. Dorthe has among others produced the popular christmas comedy show ‘Rytteriets jul’ and the successful children series ‘The Girl with the Yellow Helmet’.
At Apple Tree Dorthe has among other productions produced the series “Equinox” (Netflix, 2020), “Baby Fever (Netflix, 2022) and “Chorus Girls” (TV 2, 2023).
Dorthe holds a master’s degree in Dramaturgy from the University of Aarhus.
